On November 22, 2024, the 14th China International Trademark Festival (“CTF”) was grandly opened in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province. Wang Xin, director of Beijing Tengyu Law Firm, and Liu Li, director of the Management Committee, were invited to attend the event to discuss the future development of trademarks with local and overseas intellectual property professionals. The event was hosted by the China Trademark Association and attracted representatives from many government departments, social organizations, high-quality enterprises and universities from home and abroad. This event is not only a well-known international event in trademark field, but also an important intellectual property publicity event included in the State Council's "14th Five-Year Plan for National Intellectual Property Protection and Utilization".
The CTF has been successfully held for many consecutive sessions since 2005. Each event has discussed the developments of Chinese trademark and brands’ economy, the national intellectual property development strategy, and hot, difficult, and key issues in the field of trademarks and brands. This year's brand festival, with the theme of "Serving the Trademark and Brand Construction Project and Cultivating China's Well-known Trademark Brands", held dozens of theme activities such as the main forum, concentrated tour exhibitions, parallel meetings, and the 2024 China Brand and Trademark Expo, aiming to highlight the role of trademarks as the "first move" of corporate development to protect innovative achievements, and highlight the indispensable role of brands as the "weather vane" of economic development in leading the domestic market consumption upgrade and promoting the development of new quality productivity.
It is reported that the excellent team of Beijing Tengyu Law Firm will be deeply involved in a number of conferences and activities during the several-day Festival. They will communicate with colleagues from all over the world and share their professional knowledge and practical experience in the field of Intellectual Property litigation, so as to contribute to the development of China's Intellectual Property rights and brand building.
